Retailers seldom think of shopping for wholesale scepters when lining up their fall merchandise.  Actually, scepters fly well under the radar when we think about products to sell.  Yet fall is a time when they have greater than normal demand.

Many think of pageants as a spring activity, but actually it is year round.  Many are in fall includingwholesale scepters fleur-de-lis design the prestigious Miss America pageant.  Wholesale scepters are a need for pageant directors and retailers selling to the pageant industry.   The scale of pageants offers girls an opportunity to develop talents starting with small local pageants to major ones.  The scale also determines the budget for crowns, tiaras, and scepters. Some very nice wholesale scepters are available at very affordable prices like the fleur-de-lis scepter shown.  These can add prestige at an affordable cost to even small pageants.

In areas celebrating Mardi Gras, scepters have a great demand.  Krewes usually have a king, queen, wholesale Mardi Gras scepters and a royal court. Mardi Gras New Orleans list 64 Krewes in New Orleans alone.  In addition, many towns in Louisiana, along the Gulf Coast, and into East Texas have Mardi Gras Krewes.  This is a huge market.   Local retailers have an advantage for scepters as well as crowns.  Being king or queen as well as being in the court is often a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Royalty wants it to be right.  They want to see the Mardi Gras scepters and crowns to be sure they are perfect for the occasion.  The scepters shown with a crown on top is popular for Mardi Gras royalty.  It has a choice of silver or gold plating.  The crown on top has a four inch diameter and sparkles with crystals.

While not universal, many homecomings have scepters for their king and queen.  Homecomingswholesale scepters for homecoming happen nationwide in the fall.  Nearly every university, college, and high school has homecoming.  How many potential buyers is that?  According to Wikipedia, the US had 26,407 public high schools and 10, 693 private high schools in 2001.  That’s a lot of prospects for homecoming scepters even without counting universities and colleges.   Earlier this year, a retail shop contacted me to help them with pictures of scepters and crowns.  They wanted to market to their local schools in the area. They had no local retailers offering scepters and crowns.  The ones used by schools in the area left much to be desired.  It was a very creative idea for generating business—something few retailers would think of.  Homecoming is a huge market that often gets overlooked.

So far we have talked about occasions with need, but what about scepters for parties and fun?  Many wholesale scepters are far more reasonable than most retailers realize.  The fleur-de-lis scepter shown above can retail for around $25—an affordable price girls doing a bachelorette party, or the star of a sweet sixteen, quinceanera, or birthday party.  Kids’ scepters are even cheaper.   If you want to be different, if you want a market with practically no competition, and if you want items that have an absolute need—shop wholesale scepters and make a small investment to stock a few so people will know that you are the “go-to” place in your area.
