Wide brim hats are wonderful for sun protection in the summer and this ladies hat provides shade with a 4 ½ inch brim constructed in light weight raffia straw. Raffia is flexible straw that resists cracking like stiffer straws and is durable and crushable. The weave has open designs in the crown which serve as venting for cool wear. A stiffener that helps retain the shape of the hat causes a protrusion around the base of the crown that appears to be a band in the image. The original wholesale price was $11.00, but was reduced to $8.50 because we were unhappy with the way the stiffener protrudes around the base of the crown. An inner stretch band helps with comfort and fit. Choose this wholesale ladies summer hat if you are looking for bargain priced widebrims in the quality or raffia straw.
